Since the launch of Spark AR, a software made by Facebook to develop augmented reality (AR) effects (or filter) on Facebook/Instagram, Spark AR has quickly become the largest AR mobile platform in the world. As of September 2020, there are over 400,000 AR creators from 190+ countries, publishing a total of 1.2 million AR effects in total.
Out of 400,000+ creators, the Facebook Spark AR team has selected the top 95 members from 30 countries (Including agencies and individuals) to be the official Spark AR partner network members to lead the future of AR together with Facebook. With GOWAAA's team effort in 2020, we are honored to be among the 95 official members in Spark AR partner network!
Within the Asia Pacific, there are only 17 members of Spark AR Partner and within Singapore, there are only 3 including us! As a spark AR creator for Instagram and Facebook, it is really a big deal for our team to be recognized by Facebook, acknowledging the quality of our work and contribution to the AR community.

What is our process of creating an AR effect/filter like?
Contact us and we will set up a call within 24 hours with you to understand your marketing needs
We will provide 2-3 ideations of AR suitable for your brands and provide prototypes testing
Once the AR idea is finalized, we will provide the design visual mockup for you to vet through
We will proceed with the full development once the visual design is confirmed and provide the 1st draft of the working AR effect/filter to test on Instagram or Facebook itself
Depending on the number of revisions required, we will revise and make changes according to your feedback
We will assist and manage the approval process for the AR effect/filter for you so you can focus on other important areas of your work
Meanwhile, we will also provide consultation on how you can market your AF effect/filter effectively on Instagram and Facebook
Finally, once the AR effect/filter is approved, we will provide a customed URL for you to share it with your colleague, influencers, followers, and friends!
A typical development process will take about 15-20 working days, not including the Facebook Spark AR review process which can take up to 10 working days.
